The first coin above is a 10 pence piece from the United Kingdom and is still used. The second piece is an out of circulation 1 Irish pound coin; punt is gaelic for pound (100 pence = 1 pound, 1 pound = $1.71 US), the third coin, also from Ireland and out of circulation, was worth 5 pence.

The seven coins listed above are all Hungarian forint coins. 195 forint = $1 US Dollar. In the six coin photo, the middle bottom coin with the star on it was issued when Hungary was under communist rule. All the other forint coins were minted after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
