You might be talking about RC236, which is in the same numbering scheme. However, I would be surprised if it actually went out to White Plains (based on the schedule, someone may be playing with the signs). It was coming out of the transit center while I was riding my bike to the Bronx River Pkwy to do some railfanning. It caught my eye and the front sign read "Tappan zee Express".
