B35 via Church Posted June 10, 2010 Share #2 Posted June 10, 2010 I hope some loving family takes this dog in as their own.... but I'm a little pessimistic, being that this happened in Chicago... dog fighting (amongst other things) is common up there, compared to most big cities.... good to hear he's in one of those no kill animal shelters, though.... Grand Concourse Posted June 10, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 10, 2010 As much of a dog lover I am, I would be kinda hesitant to adopt a dog that's been thru a dog fight. It's going to be hard to 'train out' the agressions and fears. I hope there is someone out there willing to adopt it. That said, I'm glad the usual dog hater isn't here to post on this thread. B35 via Church Posted June 10, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 10, 2010 I wouldn't adopt a dog who was a participant of a dog fight either... The dog in this particular case though.... put it's own life on the line by defending its owners in a robbery attempt... can't get anymore loyal than that... a true man's best friend.
