Amtrak7 Posted October 8, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 8, 2010 With the M15 SBS, the MTA has released a new Manhattan Bus Map. If you look at the lower right corner of the rear of the map PDF, you will notice that the icon has been changed to what eerily reminds me of another transit agency: MTA logo, "Manhattan Bus Map", then 6 different-colored lines with "M" superimposed on them. http://mta.info/nyct/maps/busman2.pdf
FamousNYLover Posted October 9, 2010 Share #2 Posted October 9, 2010 http://mta.info/nyct/maps/manbus.pdf They forgot M22 Eastbound change. FDR Drive-bound route is now North End Av, Murray St, West St, Warren St, Church St, Chambers St, regular route.
Q43LTD Posted October 9, 2010 Share #3 Posted October 9, 2010 Just saw the Manhattan bus map, I like how the crosstown routes are different colors instead of just light green and blue for the past 16 years
FamousNYLover Posted October 9, 2010 Share #4 Posted October 9, 2010 Another mistake: M10 doesn't make U-turn at Columbus Circle after it finishs at Columbus Circle/8th Av. It makes right turn at Broadway, right at 57th St, right at 8th Av, layover 57th-58th Sts.
mark1447 Posted October 9, 2010 Share #5 Posted October 9, 2010 From the new Map cover, it seems like the is now on LGBT steroids based on the big M and the colors behind it. Bet Bronx/Brooklyn/Queens/SI is next
RTS CNG Command Posted October 9, 2010 Share #6 Posted October 9, 2010 I agree with Q43LTD. I like the extra colors on the crosstown buses, too. And it looks like the colors on the whole map background has changed. There are no clear shades of green anymore. This also means going back and playing around with my fantasy map even further.
