Abba Posted January 24, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2011 Current Service Status / Subways-456 Posted: 01/24/2011 4:03PM MTA Service Notice Due to switch problems at the E 180th Street Station, there is no train service in both directions between the E 180th Street Station and the Eastchester-Dyre Avenue Station. Please expect delays on the trains at this time. Why does it seem like there are switch problems on the Dyre Line almost every couple of days? Remember, the entire area has new switches, signals, tracks and even a new tower board at Unionport. There are always kinks that have to be worked out, and it will be this way until several months after all the work in the area is complete. Dont ever think that all cause stuff is new that it will work as designed out of the box.
