It was Cummins powered, and just under 40ft long. All other metro NYC TA's favored the GMC and MACK old looks. Next Question: In 1968, There was only 1 local route to JFK. This route offered service at all times with 10 minute peak headways, and 45 minute night headways. Now 40 years later the schedule and route are nearly the exact same. What route is this?
