4P3607 Posted March 15, 2011 Share #26 Posted March 15, 2011 They were running to Chambers St (Nassau Street). Notice how it said they weren't running between Essex St & Forest Hills-71 Av, not between Myrtle Av & 71 Av. then maybe they were using that middle track to terminate at Essex Street... uugh, train service disruption then the ! boy the end of my last week was not lucky with transit! Guest lance25 Posted March 15, 2011 Share #27 Posted March 15, 2011 Terminating on the middle track would delay the uptown (J)/(Z) trains, which use that track as a main thoroughfare.

The and can use the southern track. There's a switch for it before entering the station from the west.
553 Bridgeton Posted March 16, 2011 Share #29 Posted March 16, 2011 Washington Metro has flashing lights on the platform edge. MTA can use a PA system that is available in most stations. I should have explained what i ment. It wouldnt stop 12-9s. An idiot will still jump for an iphone.
EE Broadway Local Posted March 23, 2011 Share #30 Posted March 23, 2011 I think partly it is the economy with these 12-9s and near 12-9s and partly relationship problems with a Special Person or Same Person.
