MTA Service Notice

 

Due to a rail condition at the Borough Hall Station:

 

Uptown trains are running on the downtown track between the Atlantic Avenue Station and the Bowling Green Station.

 

Selected trains are running on the line between the 3rd Avenue-149th Street Station and the Chambers Street Station.

 

Please expect delays on the , and trains at this time.

 

 

Has anyone ever seen an Uptown train stop at the Downtown platform at Nevins or Borough hall?

There is no traffic lever to accommodate that move in Nevins Tower (now controlled by ATS). There is an interesting "across the plant" move for the 7 Av tracks where a train going south can travel via. the north bound tracks, enter Nevins on 4 track, and go all the way across to 1 track (south bound local) at Atlantic. It's a rare GO that requires use of a shuttle train and 30 min headway between Flatbush and Chambers.

They do that Late nights sometimes.

Whatever the problem was, it's fixed now because I rode the to Borough Hall with no issues.

I was referring to the train running in 2 sections.Wakefield-chambers,Chambers Flatbush every 30 min.They do that sometimes.
