R68 Subway Car Posted August 20, 2011 Share #1 Posted August 20, 2011 What will happen to transit sites like nycsubway.org or ttmg.org when guys like Trevor Logan or David Pirmann die? I am hoping that the transit history on websites like those two can be saved.

TwoTimer Posted August 20, 2011 Share #3 Posted August 20, 2011 Usually, the "owners" of these sites have other people right up at the top with them to help run the site, archive the information, fact-check it, etc. It's not a one man operation by any means. I am hoping that the transit history on websites like those two can be saved. the information will be passed down to other people, theres a lot of LIRR websites out there with lots of history and stories passed on from generation to generation. Plus there will be newer generations of railfans that will keep the hobby going. And plus, those two aren't even that old, they will be around for many more years to come
