peacemak3r Posted October 1, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 1, 2011 Don't they have something like that in little league softball/baseball? Something about if one team is leading over 10 runs the game ends or something.
YankeesPwnMets Posted October 3, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 3, 2011 Don't they have something like that in little league softball/baseball? Something about if one team is leading over 10 runs the game ends or something. I believe that rule was put in play during the 09 World Baseball Classic, but I'm not sure about youth leagues. I remember seeing a game still being played in the Little League world series when one team was up 20-0 Also, this IS a youth league. Parents want their kids and all the other kids involved, not just one kid doing all the scoring. There would be no point of the quarterback, or wide receiver, or linemen or anything if this kid just scored by himself all the time
aemoreira81 Posted October 3, 2011 Share #5 Posted October 3, 2011 Absolute chutzpah! Maybe defenses should be better prepared...this kid could be like Wayne Gretzky who was playing peewee and bantam against kids 5 years older than he was, or John Tavares (who was deemed an exceptional player as a 14-year old to play in a league 2 years before eligibility) to use more prominent examples.
