I got on front car of Queensboro Plaza-bound SemiExpress #1766 departed Junction Blvd @ 8:26, arrived Queensboro Plaza @ 8:42.

Total time on Subway: 26 minutes.

 

I got on front car of Coney Island-bound #8898 departed Queensboro Plaza at 8:44, arrived 34th St-Herald Sq @ 8:59.

Total time on Subway: 15 minutes.

 

I boarded NYWY 34th-42nd St Off-Peak Loop #173 departed 34th St/Broadway @ 9:07, arrived Pier 79 @ 9:12.

Total time on Ferry Shuttle: 5 minutes.

 

After I use you-know-what, I jogged on Bike/Jogging Lane to 34th St/12th Av where SBS Ambassador wanted machine little crosser to bench, so she could sit down.

 

I got receipt from M34 SBS and boarded M34 +Select Bus Service+ #3802 departed 9:38, and 11th Av Machine was very FAR APART from either door.

then saw my friends, M15 SBS Inspectors at 7th Av Station, then arrived Marginal St/35th St @ 9:58.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 20 minutes.

 

Next, I got on M34 SBS #3802 departed 10:11, arrived 34th St/12th Av @ 10:36.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+.: 25 minutes.

 

I boarded NYWY 34th-42nd St Off-Peak Loop #183 departed 34th St/12th Av @ 10:38, arrived Pier 79 @ 10:41.

Total time on ferry shuttle: 3 minutes.

 

I went to tour house to get some tour bus maps.

I boarded NYWY 34th-42nd St Off-Peak Loop #183 departed Pier #79 at 10:55, arrived 42nd St/9th Av @ 11:07.

Next, I got receipt from M34 SBS Machine and boarded M34A +Select Bus Service+ #3803 at 11:09, arrived Waterside Plaza/25th St @ 11:33.

Since bus got there early, I went to use you-know-what at Parking Garage near 29th St Station, then rush to 25th St Station to get a M34 Receipt.

 

I boarded M34A +Select Bus Service+ 3812 departed Waterside Plaza/25th St @ 11:58, arrived 43rd St/9th Av @ 12:28.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 30 minutes.

Next, I got on M34 Receipt and boarded M34 +Select Bus Service+ #3803 departed 12:30, arrived 34th St/5th Av @ 12:50.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 20 minutes.

 

Next, I got on M2 Limited #6665 departed Madison Av/35th St @ 12:56, arrived Madison Av/43rd St @ 12:57.

Total time on Bus: 1 minute.

 

I went to Mid-Manhattan Library to use internet to create sign for M34/M34A +Select Bus Service+ and printed.

 

After that, I boarded Q32 #6130 departed 5th Av/41st St @ 13:55, arrived 34th St/5th Av @ 13;59.

Total time on Bus: 4 minutes.

 

I help little at M4/Q32/NYWY side of 5th Av, Madison Av, and Lexington Av.

After 3 SBS passes, I rush to EB Park Av SBS to get a receipt and FORGOT MY NOTEBOOK on LEX AV, so I darted and looking both way, then J-cross to get my notebook, then return to station.

 

I boarded M34 +Select Bus Service+ #3802 departed 34th St/Park Av @ 14:41, arrived 34th St/1st Av @ 14:47.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 6 minutes.

 

Got receipt for M15 SBS and I boarded M15 +Select Bus Service+ #1236 departed 1st Av/35th St @ 14:48, arrived 1st Av/80th St @ 14:59.

Total time on +Select Bus Service: 11 minutes.

 

I boarded M79 #5631 departed 79th St/1st Av @ 15:07, arrived 79th St/5th Av @ 15:10.

Total time on Bus: 3 minutes.

 

I made to my lunch of Chicken Fingers and French Fries with Macaroni Cheese and iced tea, Spirit soda at Public Cafeteria inside MET Museum.

 

Around 17:20, I rush to 79th St/5th Av and boarded M79 #5364 departed 17:28, arrived 79th St/2nd Av @ 17:35.

Total time on Bus: 7 minutes.

 

After I got receipt at 2nd Av/79th St, miss M15 SBS.

I got on next M15 +Select Bus Service+ #1238 departed 17:48.

On this ride, we encounter M60-style traffic near Queensboro Bridge near 70s to 57th St, then light traffic near 50-40s.

Arrived 2nd Av/28th St @ 18:47.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 59 minutes.

 

I help at M15 Local/M34A SBS Machine at 2nd Av/28th St and one of M15 SBS passenger used wrong machine, and used M34 Machine, LOL!

 

After few minutes, went I J-cross I saw wheelchair crossing the street and thought they might use M15 SBS, so I cross back, but they were not going to SBS/Local bus, so I rush to 1st Av/29th St.

 

Boarded M15+Select Bus Service+ #1237 departed 1st Av/29th St @ 19:14, arrived 1st Av/35th St @ 19:15.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 1 minute.

 

I rush to Marginal St/35th St and got M34 Receipt.

I ask if anyone was waiting for this bus.

 

Some East River Ferry riders approach SBS Fare Machine thinking it was ferry ticket. LOL.

So, I announced, "NYWY Ticket is behind the office. This is for M34 bus. If you're going 34th Street Crosstown, you must get a receipt from this machine.

 

I boarded M34 +Select Bus Service+ #3802 departed 19:46, arrived 34th St/5th Av @ 20:07.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 21 minutes.

I cross street to M4/Q32/NYWY Shuttle Bus Stop holding to see if anyone was waiting for 34th St Bus, but no.

I even check Madison Av, only few people, so I directed them to 5th Av.

 

Next, I got on M34+Select Bus Service+ #3807 departed 20:37, arrived 20:44.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 7 minutes.

 

When I cross over 34th St to M34/M34A Stop at 34th St/8th Av, one of CEMUSA bus shelter cleaners were very rude to riders, who were only trying to get M34 SBS Receipt!

Then, I realized my backpack was broken, so I went to Duane Reade to get shopping bag, then help little at bus stop, and went across to 8th Av/42nd St SBS Machine for M34A bus and help little, call home on payphone.

One of stranger ask me if this telephone involve X5X or X2X, but first it look like 2, so he dial that number, but didn't go through. He told me it properly X5X, so I offer him to dial for him and told him to put money in and he said, "Thank you."

 

I got on front car of Jamaica Center-bound #9202 departed 34th St-Penn Station @ 21:21.

During ride, I organized my thing, because of backpack break down, sorting out which one is important like M15 SBS and M34 SBS Brochure.

Arrived Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av @ 21:47.

Total time on Subway: 26 minutes.

 

Next, I went upstairs to 74 St-Broadway and thought I drop my NON-RADIATION H20 in recycle water bottle, but it was stick to my breakdown backpack, then went back upstairs.

 

I got on front car of Flushing-bound Local departed 21:57, arrived Junction Blvd @ 22:02.

Monday, November 14th, 2012.

I got on front car of Times Sq-bound local #1696 departed Junction Blvd @ 12:16, arrived 74th St-Broadway @ 12:20.

Total time on Subway: 4 minutes.

 

Next, I got on front car of World Trade Center-bound 9527 departed Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av @ 12:22, arrived 42nd St-Port Authority Bus Terminal @ 12:50.

Total time on Subway: 28 minutes.

 

Next, I got on front car of Far Rockaway-bound #XXXX departed 12:50, arrived Chambers St @ 13:01.

Total time on Subway: 11 minutes.

 

I went to City Hall for Horse Carriage press, where NY-Class was victory and in progress of building model for electric horseless NYC Carriage.

It finish early little, so I went to New Amsterdam Library, but internet was all book.

 

So, I boarded Seaport-bound Battery Park City Shuttle Bus #XX departed Murray St/Broadway @ 13:33, arrived North End Av/Murray St @ 13:38.

Total time on BPC Shuttle Bus: 5 minutes.

 

Next, I got 45 minutes internet in ten minutes at Battery Park City Library.

I spend almost hour, and keeping NEXT Bus to track BPC Shuttle Bus while I was making sign for 2nd Av/28th St, printing out fantasy bus schedule as well.

After I print around 14:26, NEXT BUS told me BPC Shuttle was coming in 2 minutes, so I closed my internet, then got my printed paper and darted out of library.

First, I was unexpectly surprise when NYC Grayline Double-Decker Bus pulled over to BPC Shuttle/M20 Bus Stop, however it was tour, not Hop-On/Off Tour Bus.

 

Soon, shuttle came and boarded Seaport-bound Battery Park City Shuttle #29 departed North End Av/Murray St @ 14:28, arrived State St/Whitehall St @ 14:42.

Total time on BPC Shuttle Bus: 14 minutes.

 

Next, I got M15 Receipt and boarded M15+Select Bus Service+ #1265 departed South Ferry Station @ 14:45.

I gave my male B/O friend copy of M34/M34A +Select Bus Service+.

While bus was waiting at red light, he made announcement,

"Ladies & Gentlemen! There is now +Select Bus Service+ also on 34th Street Crosstown. Please paid at 34th St Crosstown Machines and get a receipt."

Arrived 1st Av/35th St @ 15:18.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 33 minutes.

 

Next, I went to Marginal St/35th St and got M34 SBS Receipt and boarded M34 +Select Bus Service+ #3800 departed 15:24, it held up Atlantic Express X23 at 8th Av due to Bolt Bus to Boston/Philadelphia was at their bus stop as well, then B/O exchange at 9th Av Station, then arrived 34th St/12th Av @ 15:59.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 35 minutes.

I got M34 SBS Receipt quick and reboarded the bus. One of lady, went the WRONG WAY!! LOL! First, she told B/O she was going to risk it, but she change her mind and got receipt.

 

M34 +Select Bus Service #3800 departed 16:05, arrived Marginal St/35th St @ 16:34.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 29 minutes.

 

Next, I saw my friend on NYWY East River Ferry #174 first, then #175.

I boarded East River Ferry Shuttle #175 departed Marginal St/35th St @ 16:50, arrived 34th St/2nd Av @ 16:55.

Total time on East River Ferry: 5 minutes.

 

Next, I got M15 SBS Receipt and boarded M15 +Select Bus Service+ #1252 departed 2nd Av/33rd St @ 17:01, arrived 2nd Av/23rd St @ 17:03.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 2 minutes.

I went to McDonald to see if I could use you-know-what, but it was busy, so I went to 23rd St/1st Av because I saw M34A +Select Bus Service+.

 

When M34A +Select Bus Service+ approach, I announce, M34A is M16 bus. There is no farebox on this bus.

I boarded M34A +Select Bus Service+ #3819 departed 23rd St/1st Av 17:10, arrived Waterside Plaza/25th St @ 17:12.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 2 minutes.

 

I darted to SBS Machine and got M34 Receipt and boarded M34 +Select Bus Service+ #3819 departed 17:16, arrived 43rd St/9th Av @ 17:46.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 30 minutes.

 

Next, I went to deli to buy Vanilla Coke and went to 9th Av/43rd St to get a SBS Receipt for M34.

I saw my Manhattanville B/O friend on arriving M11 bus.

 

I boarded M34A +Select Bus Service+ #3819 departed 9th Av/43rd St @ 18:03, wheelchair boarded at 7th Av mistaken for M34 SBS, and wheelchair didn't mind about getting off at 2nd Av for 1st Av. So I saw my SBS Ambassador friends, who gave me three more M34/M34A SBS Brochure. While B/O was picking up 2 wheelchairs, I told the passenger with SBS Receipt waiting outside to use rear door.

At 34th St/2nd Av, I did same as wheelchair passenger was drop-off.

Arrived Waterside Plaza/25th St @ 18:36.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 43 minutes.

 

I rush to SBS Machine and got a receipt for M34 SBS and boarded M34A +Select Bus Service+ #3807 departed 18:38, arrived 34th St/3rd Av @ 18:46.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 8 minutes.

I walk to 34th St/Lexington Avenue and holding my homemade sign M34/M34A +Select Bus Service does not stop at Lexington Av, then use you-know what at cafe near Park Av Station, and went to 34th St/Madison Av to make sure no one was waiting.

Male person in business suit saw M34 SBS coming and he stop at Madison Av, and I told him bus stop is on next corner and he went there.

I cross 5th Av to M4/Q32/NYWY bus stop.

I ask passenger waiting for bus, and one lady replied, "Waiting for ferry." After Q32 NG left, NYWY East River Shuttle follows, followed by Pier #79 ferry.

Then elderly man with cane and I asked him, "Excuse me, which bus are you waiting for?" and he told me "34th Street Bus."

So, he asked me where he has to get a receipt and I told him across the street.

But when another Q32 bus came, then my friend on M4 #6768, then he came back with M34 SBS Receipt and I told him, "You have to go back. This drivers don't accept ticket."

So, he went back.

When I was Q32 was turning onto 34th St, I signal driver to stop and which was friendly B/O and boarded Q32 #6013 departed 34th St/5th Av @ 19:27.

This driver said, "We'll be stopping at Marcy's in 3 minutes!"

Arrived 32nd St/7th Av @ 19:33.

Total time on Bus: 6 minutes.

 

I made to M4 #6768 departed 32nd St/7th Av @ 19:34.

I handed her M34/M34A SBS Brochure and two passengers also ask for one, so I gave to them.

Arrived Madison Av/57th St @ 19:52.

Total time on Bus: 18 minutes.

 

Next, I stop by to use computer little at Apple Store.

 

I got on front car of Astoria-bound #8947 departed 5th Av-59th St @ 20:30, arrived Queensboro Plaza @ 20:39.

Total time on Subway: 9 minutes.

While I wait for express, I froze while reading M34/M34A SBS Brochure until left and soon express arrived.

 

I got on front car of Flushing-bound Express #2030 departed 20:43.

I made announcement about Long Island Bus situation.

Arrived Junction Blvd @ 20:57.

Total time on subway: 14 minutes.

Friday, November 18th, 2011.

I boarded Q72 #101 departed Junction Blvd/37th Av @ 7:48.

At Central Terminal Area, there were three (M60)s bunching, and Q72 B/O blocked one of (M60) for me, arrived @ 8:04.

Total time on Bus: 16 minutes.

 

I boarded M60 #3899 departed 8:05, arrived 125th St/2nd Av @ 8:41.

Total time on Bus: 37 Minutes.

I waved to dispatcher taking cover in Dunkin Donut at gas station and head to 126th St/2nd Av and got M15 SBS Receipt at 8:41, boarded M15 SBS #1246 @ 8:44, and after picking up wheelchair, broken down, got off at 8:48.

Total time on +Select Bus Service": 4 minutes.

 

Boarded M15 +Select Bus Service+ #1268 departed 8:49, inspector a 49th St, arrived 2nd Av/23rd St @ 9:36.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 47 minutes.

I used restroom at McDonald and rush to 1st Av and M23 came first.

I boarded M23 #558 departed 9:46, arrived Avenue C/23rd St @ 9:47.

Total time on Bus: 1 minute.

 

I darted to Waterside Plaza/25th St and got M34 SBS Receipt @ 9:48, just to miss #3819, but boarded M34A +Select Bus Service+ #3820 departed 9:56, two ladies miss stop on 8th Av/37th St, and B/O kindly pull over to M20 stop at 39th St, then arrived 43rd St/9th Av @ 10:23.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 27 minutes.

 

Next, I got receipt for M34 at 9th Av/42nd St, boarded M34A +Select Bus Service+ #3819 via rear door departed 10:25, arrived Waterside Plaza/25th St @ 10:55.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 30 minutes.

SBS Receipt was not expire, so I walk over to Marginal St/35th St and got SBS Receipt at 11:03, and that M34 SBS B/O, properly #3806 didn't pick up me!! :mad:

 

I boarded M34 +Select Bus Service+ #3817 departed 11:15, arrived at NYWY"s stop at 34th St/12th Av @ 11:36.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 21 minutes.

 

Next, I got SBS Receipt at 11:36, boarded M34 +Select Bus Service+ #3806 departed 11:44, this B/O wouldn't let me stand and force me to sit, and arrived Marginal St/35th St @ 12:11.

Total time on +Select Bus Service+: 27 minutes.

 

Next, when I was about to head to Waterside Plaza/29th St Station for M34A, I saw bus coming and I didn't want to get on unfriendly #3806, so I darted to 34th St/1st Av, got SBS Receipt @ 12:14, made and boarded M34A +Select Bus Service #3805 via rear door and departed 12:15.

Before 5th Av, I put SBS Brochure given by my SBS Ambasaddor friends because this female B/O didn't had copy.

Arrived 34th St/5th Av @ 12:26.

Total time on +Select Bus Service: 11 minutes.

I cross over to M4/Q32/NYWY and I ask two ladies if they were waiting for bus and they told me, "34th St Bus."

Then went I took them to across street, she told me "Grayline to Ferry."

To later find out, she was waiting for NYWY Shuttle Bus's 34th-42nd St Off-Peak Loop.

Then I saw one lady came, who was waiting for (M4) or (Q32).

Then another lady came, and that lady told her (M16) aka M34A, and M34 across the street.

I and that lady direct 34th St passenger boarded Q32 #6881 departed 12:46, arrived 34th St/Broadway @ 12:48.

Total time on Bus: 2 minutes.

 

I didn't see M34/M34A +Select Bus Service+, so I entered 34th St-Herald Sq and first try out BMT Broadway Line just to miss uptown I believe.

I didn't see either coming, so I made dash for IND 6th Av Line, where I made to front car of Jamaica-bound #98883 departed 12:47, arrived Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av @ 13:02.

Total time on Subway: 15 minutes.

 

Next, I got on Flushing-bound local #1916 departed 74th St-Broadway @ 13:07, arrived Junction Blvd @ 13:11.

Total time on Subway: 4 minutes.

 

Next, I boarded Q72 #3605 (white) departed Junction Blvd/Roosevelt Av @ 13:13, arrived Junction Blvd/37th Av @ 13:15.

Total time on Bus: 2 minutes.

And WTF are you talking about at the end of post 2 announcing about the LIB situation? They must have thought you were nuts! How many of them actually take a LIB at Main/Roosevelt @ 9 PM? There is very little LIB service at that time outta there!

Iono, you got me beat man.... the older I got, the lazier I'm tending to get... I'd rather spend the 1-2+ hrs on one bus now, over the 10 min here, 20 mins. there.... guess it's b/c I'm also starting to carry my laptop more....

 

far as the M34/a SBS goes.... I have yet to see an "M34" SBS....

All I ever see are the M34a's....
