mtattrain Posted April 17, 2012 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2012 Not to be redundant or annoying, but I just wanted to ask which transit authorities (besides Trimet, which I know is running some) are still running Flxible Metros as of 2012?
Vistausss Posted April 17, 2012 Share #2 Posted April 17, 2012 NJ Transit.
DJ MC Posted April 17, 2012 Share #3 Posted April 17, 2012 NJ Transit. NJT retired them already. I think they were all retired by 2011. I know the ones with the DD92 engines were retired in 2010. They were all replaced by the NABI 416.15 buses.
CDTA Posted April 21, 2012 Share #4 Posted April 21, 2012 Forgive me if i'm wrong, but I believe that WMATA, and CTA still run some.
mtattrain Posted April 21, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted April 21, 2012 Forgive me if i'm wrong, but I believe that WMATA, and CTA still run some. No, WMATA's died in December 2010 and CTA's as well.
79MetroExtraMD Posted May 19, 2012 Share #6 Posted May 19, 2012 I dunno if TriMet still runs them, but I know of one university my alma mater, University of Maryland, that still runs them.
RailBus63 Posted May 19, 2012 Share #7 Posted May 19, 2012 I believe MAT in Omaha still operates Flxibles, although they were rebuilt and now sport round headlights in front.
RookiePhenom Posted June 29, 2012 Share #8 Posted June 29, 2012 CTA has several mothballed (and in fact used during the NATO protests in May). Otherwise, the majority were retired and/or sold after February 2010.
