mark1447 Posted May 6, 2012 Share #2 Posted May 6, 2012 Yeah, I've seen the 96th one. Not the 72nd Street. Makes me wonder if the MTA COULD open 72nd Street station early (When done), and allow the line to end there, until 86th/96th are open.
6 Lexington Ave Posted May 6, 2012 Share #3 Posted May 6, 2012 So, I have a question: if the line hasn't been completed yet, how does the train know the distance between the stations already?

Guest Lance Posted May 6, 2012 Share #5 Posted May 6, 2012 So, I have a question: if the line hasn't been completed yet, how does the train know the distance between the stations already? They probably don't. It's probably an approximation based on the road above.
B3 Via Av U Posted May 7, 2012 Share #6 Posted May 7, 2012 They probably don't. It's probably an approximation based on the road above. So I guess they'll update the program when the line is completed, but before it is opened.

TwoTimer Posted May 8, 2012 Author Share #9 Posted May 8, 2012 No, the one in front of mine. I just went in there and played around with the TOD. If I wasnt going past stations in Manhattan, I would have programmed in the route and see what would have happened as I went south. I didnt take any FIND pictures because the stations were manual announcements, there was no FIND to look at.
