lilbluefoxie Posted July 4, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2012 How come only the Brooklyn bridge has direct ramps to FDR Drive and Park Row but the other bridges which are newer have no direct connections? You would think the opposite would be true.

You would think the opposite would be true. The Brooklyn Bridge had the most traffic out of all of them, so it got the connections.
lilbluefoxie Posted July 4, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted July 4, 2012 I always thought they would have put them on the Williamsburg Bridge since that was at one point going to be I-78 through brooklyn.
VWM Posted July 9, 2012 Share #4 Posted July 9, 2012 I wish it was I-78 through Brooklyn.. there are no good connections whatsoever. Would the JR Parkway been part of the I-87?

With the current layout Broadway would be I-78 and the JR Parkway possibly part of 78 as well as parts of the Grand Central and Northern State Parkway
