The Real Posted September 20, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2012 New Flyer Industries Inc. announced that its second-half 2012 production schedule has been adjusted as a result of a delay in receiving a notice to proceed (“NTP”) from a large US customer (New York MTA) for an order of 90 Xcelsior 60-foot articulated buses. New Flyer has been advised that the contract is fully funded and was approved by the agency’s board of directors nearly three months ago, but has been delayed as a result of the State’s requirement that sole-sourced procurements be independently reviewed. Princelex Posted September 20, 2012 Share #3 Posted September 20, 2012 And I was wondering what was happening with this bus. I hope it hits the streets here before 2012 ends.

QM1to6Ave Posted September 20, 2012 Share #5 Posted September 20, 2012 This is a good thing- the more reviews done by the state, the fewer dumbass contracts will be given out to the various cousins/brothers/friends of politicians.
