lilbluefoxie Posted September 25, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2012 Whats the best spot for BL20G photos? I know theres the one on the St George bound platform at Clifton, but only if they are parked on that side track. Is there any other places around Clifton yard that are open to the public where the BL20G's may be in view?
mark1447 Posted September 25, 2012 Share #2 Posted September 25, 2012 What I'd really would like to know, is when are these used. Besides picking up a dead train.

They use em for track work and stuff, pulling the gravel bins and stuff.
mark1447 Posted September 25, 2012 Share #4 Posted September 25, 2012 They use em for track work and stuff, pulling the gravel bins and stuff. I've never seen them out in person. I would love to catch one on the road. As per your question. Your gonna be able to get a good spot to shot them. Its all gated. Unless one were to sit in Tottenville Yard, but that I've never seen. S78 via Hylan Posted September 27, 2012 Share #5 Posted September 27, 2012 Usually, most of them sit around at Clifton Yard.

Y2Julio Posted October 3, 2012 Share #8 Posted October 3, 2012 Best bet is midday whenever they have single track due to track work. Also helps to have a radio, can also be spotted laid up in the north shore tracks or in st. George.
