Lightning?!

Ya, it's 3 something am, and for the last hour and a half, i've been watching a mostly silent light show out my window. Flashes mostly, most of them quite diffused, but some seem really close. Only a few strong rumbles here and there.

 

Strange atmospheric happenings are afoot!

Lightning strikes are very loud especially when you're outside. Better duck for cover.

Its been a while since I've sat on my porch and watch the lighting show. I use to see them all the time in Puerto Rico when I visited.

Its been a while since I've sat on my porch and watch the lighting show. I use to see them all the time in Puerto Rico when I visited.

 

 

We saw a gnarly one while we were at the airport waiting for our flight to board last november. Flights were grounded for a good hour.
