mfs NJT459 Posted October 13, 2013 Share #51 Posted October 13, 2013 So for the NY routes, Clever Devices and NJT are creating multiple stop points within PABT As of yesterday''s systemwide data update (corresponding to the new 317 and 452 schedules that went into effect) there are new stop points named "PABT + East End Arrival", "PABT + Bus Lanes Entry"

Wonder if the announcements will change though.

161 New York Posted November 13, 2013 Share #54 Posted November 13, 2013 So for the NY routes, Clever Devices and NJT are creating multiple stop points within PABT As of yesterday''s systemwide data update (corresponding to the new 317 and 452 schedules that went into effect) there are new stop points named "PABT + East End Arrival", "PABT + Bus Lanes Entry" Haven't seen those - yet. Recently the 161's, upon pulling out of PABT at about the 4th FL ramp exit, says "I-495 ABOVE LINCOLN TUNNEL" (or something very similar). Frequently I see the "New York Transfer" when the bus reaches Palisade Avenue in Union City and then "Port Authority" after the last stop Weehawken/Pleasant Avenue until the bus reaches PABT. Orion VII 4 Life Posted November 13, 2013 Share #55 Posted November 13, 2013 So now the new thing is Port won't show on the sign until you get out of the tunnel and the announcement goes off. Then the announcement goes off again 2 times in the building itself on the way to the 300 gates on the 139.
Orion VII 4 Life Posted January 23, 2014 Share #56 Posted January 23, 2014 All routes are now online. Including Howell's, so we'll have some missing buses for now until the old CNGs are all gone, but f**k it it's about damn time!
DaTransitMan4608 Posted January 24, 2014 Share #57 Posted January 24, 2014 Hey at least we won't have a hard time finding the new CNGs when they start coming in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mfs NJT459 Posted January 24, 2014 Share #58 Posted January 24, 2014 there's a nice little service bulletin at the PABT stop ID: (26229) and also mentioned on the bus advisories page and bus departures there don't show the bus number Subject: PABT Arrivals 4 to 7 p.m.Affected Service: All Routes: PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERMINALTo maintain the best possible on time performance at the PABT between 4pm - 7pm on weekdays, all trips are subject to change as we work to reassign buses where customer demand is greatest. During this time, only scheduled departure times are shown.
