Here are some R17 photographs which were made in the mid 80's. During this time period, the Broadway/Seventh Avenue Local had typically been in the capable hands of R21's and 22's; however, the Pelham Line was beginning to receive new equipment and some R17's formerly assigned to that service were transferred to the 1 as exhibited in the in the following views:

Due to their proximity to my fiance's apartment, I photographed only IRT lines although I once rode one of the Transit Museum's trips nostalgia trips and took a few uninspiring pictures in Far Rockaway. Those are the only non IRT photos I have.
