But since we're also counting half red trains in: The BN M1/M2/M3 series in Amsterdam (subway), built in the 80s, about to be replaced by new Alstom Metropolis trains. The Alstom Metropolis M5 trains replacing 'em: Stadler Spurt railroad trains, in use by Arriva Netherlands: Stadler Spurt railroad trains in use by Veolia Netherlands: BN street cars in use by HTM in The Hague: (with the ugly new front! before the overhaul they looked a lot better IMHO) DE-1 railroad train from the Dutch Railways (this train series is retired a long time ago): Former TEE (Trans-Europe Express) railroad train: And furthermore, about all of the rolling stock of the DB (German Railways) is red with (usually) white doors. DJ MC Posted July 5, 2013 Share #8 Posted July 5, 2013 Here are two and the pictures are not mine. BR475 and BR477. The BR475 lasted until 1997 serving 70 years for the S-Bahn. Converted to electric trains in 1919. Last in service 1984. The double ended version. Swing doors or "Dog Boxes" "Doggies" Built in 1887 to 1907 as loco hauled stock capable of being turned into Electric trains. Entered services as electric trains in 1919. Last in service 1984.
