Xentor Posted January 5, 2014 #1 Posted January 5, 2014 Although the MTA rules & regulations book is quite lengthy and thorough, the book outlines a very corporate perspective of Transit. Can't help and wonder that a lot of newbies come in to the job and for lack of a better term "just do the job", without any sort of consideration of their co-worker's habits whether good or bad. What are some of the things a rookie C/O or T/O should briefly talk about with their partner before beginning a route? What kind of unwritten rules, habits, warnings or even procedures do some people have before beginning a job with a newbie or with somebody they haven't met before? Likely some of this stuff has been mentioned in other threads like "The Schoolcar Experience" but that's really another subject.I think knowing a bit of RTO culture could be really helpful to rookies and even veteran employees alike.

Blitz Posted January 12, 2014 #4 Posted January 12, 2014 Yes, either read through the thread linked above, or you can go to the "Crew Room" if you are employed by the MTA and ask the question there
