Yesterday, 9/13/2015, 34th Street-Javits Center (7) train extension officially opened to the public after 2 years of delays. There were tons of railfans in attendance (as well as some notable ones). Some had even come as far from Philadelphia. Here are a few pictures, and a video.

This could have easily been Station #470 if Dean Street on the Franklin Ave Shuttle didn't see its demise over the years before it closed in 1995 due to service cuts. 

 

It was a low ridership stop and the terminal is like three blocks from it.
