Pablo M 201 Posted October 4, 2008 Share #26 Posted October 4, 2008 I have several times and were all quite enjoyable times. Its less boring than an R68/A.
BklynBusMan08 Posted October 5, 2008 Share #27 Posted October 5, 2008 I've been taking the the Q train a lot lately -- and usually get an R-160. Every train I was on last week had a broken FIND system. Some even had the interior digital signs locked saying () to Queens. Another train's sign was flat out dead. Here's the thing... this is the MTA's first real big entrance into the computer world. To have dozens of trains with a system that doesn't work is unacceptable. At this point, I'd prefer the R142 paper signs, that just turn off when the train is on a different line. At least that works properly most of the time. Yes, the train gets me from point A to point B, but if you're going to include advanced technology like FIND, make sure it works, or turn it completely off for now. Oh, and I do like these trains -- they are so quiet. I love the sound they make too when they pull away from the station... just wish the technology would work good!
