I just applied to 4605, they state any accident is a disqualification. It’s a bummer because I had an accident where it’s not on my abstract and the damages were less than $1,000. I am gonna take my chances anyway but I’m sure they’re gonna tell me to get lost after taking the exam and going to 180 Livingston afterwards.

I didn’t see that in the paperwork out being disqualified if you had an accident. Plus if the accident isn’t on your driving abstract why put it on the application.

Im already a B/O, it happened while on duty.
on the NOE for 7604 it says any accidents may be a DQ also.

I know for B/O they are more concerned about driving record because of the CDL and stuff but for train operator as long as you have a active drivers license, and don’t owe any tickets you should be fine.

If it’s so bad why don’t you take the test and cross over? I’m not attacking you, I’m just curious. How is T/O such a terrible job compared to B/O?

Pardon it was the OAsys number it was automated

The list was extended and when I went in October to do my 2nd drug test the superintendent said they have a class every month until April and even more after that. Plus I am currently a conductor and the union vp also confirmed it.

Pay him no mind he got rookie problems..

Of coruse he is still down here so if it was so bad he would have quit already...

T/O isn't for everyone but as a B/O i feel there's more chit they gotta go through than a TO..

Been here 22 years and i came from the first open competitive test and the chit we went through was nothing compared to what folks go through now...

There was pure animosity for us from all sides Management and Fellow Coworkers...
