ToneCapone Posted September 29, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 29, 2008 if anyone is still keeping tabs on the mta bus bus roster all the 7000's buses(old triboro coach orange seat 1993 rts buses) at laguardia depot have been renumbered to 9700's. laguardia depot also got a delivery of 10 rts buses from ulmer park, flatbush, jamaica & queens village depots. i couldn't get the numbers i was running late sorry. i do recall they were 8200's & 9300's. They are being replaced by the 9300s all from JA, QV, & UP well only up to 9349. I wish the higher #d 9300s would go to LGA as well. I guess its not time for them yet. WTF? Okay let's clear this up real quick. Now TMC RTS-06 #7100s and #7200s were NOT renumbered to #9700s. The 9700s were ex-Queens Surface Corporation TMC RTS-06 #275-389 series buses...hence the orange seats. Triboro Coach had red seats. Next, those NovaBus RTS-06 that arrived at LaGuardia came from Jamaica (NovaBus RTS-06 #9347-9349) and Ulmer Park (NovaBus RTS-06 #9302-9304, #9306-9308, #9310-9311, #9316-9317, #9319-9321, #9338 and #9340).
