Yea for sure. But I mean you ride for free so I’ll def do what I have to do to get where I gotta go. Just bought one of them electric scooters. So I can make some moves if it’s a little far from where I have to go when I get off from wherever I’ll be. Thanks bro. Appreciate the convo and help. That’s what’s up.

I went in today for a 12pm appointment. I advise you if you dont have the application; you will have to sit down and fill one in there. They took my id, passport, ss and covid card and ask me question like what year u graduate high school; what is the current job you are working. Also I would advise you drink water when going there/ on your way there cuz when u go in for your urine test and u cant urinate yet then you wait longer with a bottle of water provided.

Yes they do check.  Make sure you’re honest about everything. Articulate yourself well on the additional sheets about the situation and you’ll be okay. 

Just a general statement for everyone who’s interested in the job. Always stay clean. Two people in my class during training got randoms their first month and it’s a lottery for everyone. This isn’t a moving title but it is very dangerous so the MTA cares about safety in that regard.  It becomes a moving title if you bid and get a Chauffeur or Crane job so you need a clean driving record for those I think. Stay safe everyone!

So a drivers license is required? Idc about drinking and drugs I don’t do none of that. Are you automatically disqualified if you don’t have a valid drivers license?

You don't need a license for this title but, if you want to move to certain specialist titles they require CDL's.

(ie. Crane Operator, Specialist Operator, Clipper, Chauffer)

It was literally the following week. I had something i needed to attend so they let me do the medical then told me i can reschedule for final processing. Took me almost a week to get someone but i finally did
