Eric B Posted March 3, 2018 Share #5 Posted March 3, 2018 For real? I thought the Orion VII's replaced all of them. Or are they still on employee shuttles or other services? (I think when the Orions came in, I would see those older ones in other uses occasionally. Of course, all of those are just parking lot circulators now, unless the Airtrain is out and they restore the full service).

Of course, all of those are just parking lot circulators now, unless the Airtrain is out and they restore the full service). The PANYNJ ordered the Orion VII to displace their D40LF, which were the first ones ever built (or the second batch ever). About six of them were bought second-hand by Golden Touch (#9021-9026). GT also bought two D35LF from Charlottesville (#9027-9028; ex-#821 and #822). All for the employee shutttles, NOT the Delta Jitney. For that, they have about 25 1998-1999 Gilligs from Hertz, numbered #3101-3125. Now, GT is replacing the older New Flyers #9021-9028 with ex-Hertz Gilligs from 2003, which will also have the same 9### numbers. And from this article, 12 Xcelsiors for the Jitney. *GT has had other Gilligs. They had #9001-9006 (NYC Airporter, ex-Hertz) and Phantoms #4001-4004 (Ex-Denver, used for terminal); there is #4005, which is just a Low Floor. #25424-25438 are at Newark Airport for United Airlines, and are also ex-Hertz. #8220,8300,8320,8450,8460,8480 are Gillig 29-footers at LaGuardia Airport, ex-Avis.
