Smoot178 Posted February 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 9, 2009 Is the Kmart on Broadway nice? I hope to transfer there when I move and I'm kinda nervous about it. Is it multiple floors? Is it nice? I'm sure -someone- has been in it.
Y2Julio Posted February 9, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 9, 2009 Never been to it but the area around it is nice. Has quick and easy access to the subway. You can take the to Astor Place.

via White Plains Road Posted February 9, 2009 Share #5 Posted February 9, 2009 Then how is that one? Its an entrance in Penn Station not that far from the Long Island Rail Road ticket booth and its somewhat big. The other entrance is on street level on West 34th Street b/w 7th and 8th Avenues....so you can take the or to 34th Street-Penn Station

PATCOman Posted February 10, 2009 Share #12 Posted February 10, 2009 There isnt one (Target) in manhattan as far as i have seen. - A Technically, the one on 225 off of Broadway is in Manhattan.
metsfan Posted February 10, 2009 Share #13 Posted February 10, 2009 I know target has a totally different environment than kmart, but i gotta say that kmart is a time tested company that also does business as sears. They have similar product ranges to target, but they are a much more established chain. Target is seen as a more high end wal-mart (and without the ethical questions). I can recommend working at kmart in penn plaza. I would not recommend working at target right now in this economy because they have some higher end exposure that kmart does not. - A

Smoot178 Posted February 10, 2009 Author Share #15 Posted February 10, 2009 I see you there showing off your knowledge. I am not concerned about Target. I WILL be working at Kmart (well hopefully, they'll probably hire me due to just coming from another Kmart). I just wanna know which store is the cleanest, is newer, has more, etc as I can't go looking myself (just yet).
