( the annoucment of 6 line speaK clear. the annoucemnt of 6 line is not clear on R142A. did R142 on 2 line annoucment line got re-recored to.? I don't where you got that the R-142A's on the is getting re-re recorded again. The R-142A's announcement are more clearer than the ones on the R-142 on the . All of the R-142 and R-142A's got a make over in the mid 2000's. Some went from this: To Pelham Bay Pk 23 St Next 12:25 PM or To Wakefield-241 Times Sq Next 5:15 PM To this: Pelham Bay Park The Next Stop Is 51 St 8:44 PM Wakefield-241 St The Next Stop Is E 180 St 4:40 PM Once it was "This is a Bronx bound local train the next stop 77th Street Now its This is a Parkchester bound local The Next Sop Is 125th Street Like 33rd Street said....it will only once the Uptown side of Bleecker Street makes a connection to Broadway-Lafayette! I mean they are already mastered so...I see no point in getting someone else imo. its not like a subway car that is old and rusty and faaling apart that NEEDS to be replaced. they annoucements obviously are digital so they will never ever ever where out unless the speakers get worn out but that will be years from now. unless ur not fond of the voices then..i guess like what can u do or if that was me what can i do?
