reelbigfish Posted February 25, 2009 Share #5 Posted February 25, 2009 Very nice. And much hasn't even changed since then. The Green Line E branch is now shortened to Heath St/VA Medical Center, the extension of the Red Line to Alewife is completed and the Orange Line is re-routed south of downtown through what would have been I-95 into Boston at Back Bay. Also missing is the South Colony lines of the commuter rail which run along the Red Line past Braintree and The Needham Line which runs along the Orange line past Forest Hill then goes west to Needham Center and North through Needham. Also, the NEC and a few other lines now run along the Orange Line in it's new right of way. The only major pending change is a Green Line extension from Lechmere to Route 16 is Somerville.
