Awesome! Caught that on TV a while back but didn't know it was online

One stat right at the end though, not sure if it can be true.

"The weight of the various specs and standards manuals exceeds the actual weight of the car".

So, average, empty, these things weigh about 80,000 pounds, if I remember correctly. Assuming standard 20# paper, Thats 2,125,000 pages of specs? Lets assume that 2/3 of that weight is binding: Still 700,000 pages?

I guess that's possible, but that seems like more information than there could even possibly BE about this subway car.

whats the difference between the A and AA train?

Before the 1980's, double letter lines were indicated as local lines, while single letter lines were express. The A was more or less the same route between Inwood and Queens, while the AA only ran between Hudson Terminal (today's WTC) and 168 Street. When the time came to rename all lines to single letters, the AA became the new (K), and later was merged into expanded (B) and (C) service.
