  1. You know it's gettin' warm when you start hearing the HVAC units on blast...
  2. For real... I'm guessing between 150-200 tonnes... Wonder who's to blame...
  3. lmao damn... Brand new locomotive hits the floor hard
  4. Unless they're liking the same argument they disagreed to then I don't see that as not having a stance or in another word, a backbone... If anything it shows maturity. It's just an argument, people get over that stuff... Anyway I was bored and googled random thoughts that came to mind... African models eventually came to mind and I came across this... Beautiful.
  5. Horrible way to go... Looked like he paused in fear the second before the train hit him. Can't really tell thou it looks like an NS locomotive. http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshh34736U04vW82fazq Heard the engine of that locomotive btw? Well in advance you heard that thing coming... That's what a real train sounds like!
  6. This guy's real nice. Funny too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXbcm9zda94 Some of those passengers need to loosen the f@%k up btw. God damn smile, turn your head with curiosity and watch, you know you want to...
  7. U.S. Homeland Security ordered 1.4 Billion rounds of ammunition last year... wtf are they trying to get prepared for?
  8. Really startin' to get hooked to watching these Jersey dances... Can't help it a lot of the mixes sound sick... dude at 1:40 killed it. Only part I actually like anyway.
  9. Didn't want to make a thread for such a small question but is there an official term for that howling sound you'd hear as a long freight consist picks up speed? Love that sound... Here's a perfect example... Start at 1:50 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1OZI27ePDw
  10. I swear you'll slowly start to lose interest in subway trains once you watch a mile long freight consist pulled by 16 ft tall, 200 ton plus locomotives. Standing about 15 ft from the tracks I can feel the vibration from the loud powerful engines. One of the best parts was hearing the very loud blasts of the horn. The heavy tint of the locomotives windows and dark paint scheme makes them seem somewhat more intimidating... This was via CSX railroad btw.
  11. My generation's version of "real" R&B music... Good classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NARjr3fMMvY
  12. "da boys be mobbin' in Flatbush" But for real thou, on Church from Kings Hwy to E18th there wouldn't be about three blocks without an officer on post. Sometimes you'd see them in groups of about seven (going to their post I guess?) A decent number of them are women too... And a few of the women are short at that... Who the hells gonna take them seriously?
  13. The 160s has to be America's most sophisticated subway train. Anyone disagree?
  14. Man the can really pick up speed around Ralph n/b but along comes the timers...
  15. Starting to see a few hipsters as far as Church 'n Nostrand... I swear they try so hard with the pace walking, trying to follow the stereotypical fast-walkin' New Yorker.
  16. Operator must've braked at some point or it was a really slow set. I remember hitting 46 mph with an operator that braked in the station. This was a few years ago on a 32.
  17. True. I hate having double periods souley because I hate being in one classroom for so long. As for having classes right next to each other - nah, just too boring not being able to walk the halls a bit before entering class.
