There are some nice big places that could have been a NJT bus garage just north of the current one. But people seem to want golf courses instead of transit. Can't have it both ways.

I recall NJT were eyeing a spot in Teterboro to replace Oradell. Guess that one went no where...

The 114 is way too long for its own good. Something in general needs to be with bus service in the Raritan Valley and Union County. The 114 does too much, and the 113 doesn't carry a lot (outside of rush hours).

What kind of solution or suggestion you have in mind?

As for the change for the #1 to/from Exchange Place, is this another way to make up for the #4 getting axed?

    I'm only aware of two.

One of them being the Springfield Ave and Bruen Ave #17870 in the downtown direction.

The other one being Springfield Ave and William St. #19004 in the Irvington direction.

It's going to happen on June 14th from what I saw.

Needs more stops to be eliminated. At least a good stretch from S 18th until Irvine Turner, too many stops on back to back blocks.

We never found out what really happened to Nabi 5757 from A&C bus company. There was no mention of accident or fire very strange. The only other bus make NJT has is the Neoplan Artics not ready quite yet for the scrap yard.

5919 was last seen at the Ferry Street Shops on jack stands, possibly as a maintenance training bus.

They should...Or give it to Acadamy 22 hillside...That's not a low ridership line...Coach Usa and AC corp made it a low ridership line with the reduced service they started to provide once the take over....Most ppl including myself dont use it anymore cause of the waiting times...

Or it could be that A&C Bus is short on drivers or a bit cash strapped? *shrugs*

Its low on ridership because they cut the buses...When Layfayette& Greenville operated both the local-Newport-Todays #4 and #3 todays #6 they ran them quite frequently...Especially the local...only way see them doing that they have the 81 serve both newport and exchange place....Whats gonna serve newport from ocean ave if they do that

Doesn't this reek of how Red & Tan in Hudson County ran the route?
