WTF. Orange still has a crapload of Novas left. They did this same back and forth stuff with the 6300s that went to Orange. What the frick is NJT doing?! I wonder where 6403-6311 is, then..

NJT is playing musical chairs with this latest batch. Orange, Greenville, Hilton, Meadowlands, Big Tree doing switcheroo like its ok to do so. WTF NJT?!?!

Saw #5803 on mybusnow yesterday on the 83, another loaner from Big Tree.

The 70 is only on weekends, its the 13 and 39 that need them the most, other than the 150s

I "unleashed my fury" because they steal from the State of New Jersey for their own financial gain, using publicly-funded, publicly-owned buses for expensive charter service. Yay Academy! I also saw one of their state buses go down the Thruway in Yonkers earlier signed up as "ACADEMY", not sure if there were passengers or not.

 

But, can't say that much bad about them, I lost my audio recorder last week on 8589 on the 139 and they found it and gave it back to me with no problems at all.

You referring to Academy, right? Cause last time you mentioned a peep on them you unleashed your fury against them

when did they retire the flexible metro d's? cause they used to be a mainstay on the 66 and its so weird to see nabis on there.

Wow 1440 is there now? I remember when that bus was the last Nova from Hilton with the "disco stripe" to get rehabbed to the modern "wave". And I was the first passenger to ride it after it was rehabbed. Good times with that bus, along with 1444, 1461, 1471, 1481, among others

Looks like the 6400s will make their Orange debut in the next couple of days or hours lol

Same here. Well its the death of the Novas in NJT property. Now its AC Transit for me to get my last rides when I'm back in town in august. I refuse to ride Roach USA'S Novas

I guess they will look just like the rest of the fleet: NJT transit style seating, only thing new is the vinyl wrapping of the bus, a la go28.

I want to say yes,but at the same time I'm not sure,unless somebody knew someone from Hilton and asked.

I happen to know someone that is a bus operator, she does the 39 a lot, idk what route or routes she does right now. ill try to get a hold of her and ask tomorrow morning

How long ago did you see the 2000-series T80206 RTSs being scrapped? I think they retired almost 1-2 years ago.

 

EDIT: County Auto Wreckers certainly picks up part of the retired RTSs doe.

It was when the suburban CRAPIs were arriving to both Orange and Hilton... I think. My memory is a bit shot so I have to dig through my email to find the pic I got.

that can be true, but last time i checked while some of the 26xx & 27xx Novas at Hilton were being retired they were sent to Dublin. i caught a picture of a lot near the Newark DMV where i found some of them awaiting to get scrapped. also i saw them everyday when i took the go28 or 62 to the airport just sitting there.

i didnt know NIMCO is getting out of the game, thats news to me

7612 was on the 319 earlier today heading to A.C. also Hilton has 1426, 1431, 1440, 1451, & 1514 remaining from what I was told.

what about the Novas for the go25? they are scrapped already?

looks like the Novas are getting scrapped either at NIMCO or at Dublin Scrap Metal in Freylinhusen Ave... looks like when i return in August its all CRAPIs :/
