You know guys, these maintenance shifts are barely moves. Buses get moved around for work all the time...it's if they hit service that it gets interesting. I know they're in the database, but still.

 

Also, which PBL-O5 suburban was it that became an NYPD bus? Just saw it, interior is still exactly as it was with NYBS-colored seats and luggage racks.

For some reason 9208 & the 2 5000's from UP aren't showing at LGA. Guess they're just temp until LGA gets their equipment fixed...

Yep, they're loaners for the time being. Looks like it may have something to do with the AC on LGA's RTS's or something..

The hell is up with LaGuardia lately..are that many buses OOS to the point the 7 V CNG's just don't suffice?

Looks like it's vendor-bound considering it's on the Long Island-bound side of the Van Wyck expressway..

According to ciboii22 in an earlier post the 6000's at JG are still not in service.

Thing is.. How are they fueling them? CNG station blew up when TA took over.. They're most likely sending them to CP to be fueled..

After the operator finishes their last run after 8PM, they deadhead straight to CP to refuel, and in the next morning, they pick up the buses. They only park the buses at LGA between the AM and PM rush, and just before the AM rush..

Btw all remaining 7 O5 CNG's from CP transferred over officially into LGA and they sent 8756, 8902 & 8971 to CP for work.

Figured they'd do that since LGA is still short by approximately 12 buses.

I still believe 9871 and or 9877 was the closes because I remember 9853 didn't have the numbers on the front on the blue stripe.

9844,9846,9851, and 9856 are goners from Spring Creek. Only 4 Orion V CNG remain at SC.

LGA is going to have all of the remaining 8700 buses. LGA is definitely going to be part of the next order for MTA bus especially since they will need about 110 buses.

Cait Sith mentioned it was set in stone that LGA isn't getting new buses anymore after the troubles with their batch of NG's when they first arrived.

9860, 9902 CP to Scrap

I KNEW 9860 was gonna get scrapped! The wheelchair lift on that bus ceased to function last time one of my friends had that bus.
