  1. How will the B45 go to and from Vanderbilt Avenue?
  2. It does answer my question. It all goes back to what I said about dollar vans earlier: Dollar vans run parallel to certain routes because they know people want a fast and reliable rides from Point A to Point B.
  3. Why were the Q5 and Q85 extended to Green Acres Mall?
  4. Green Acres Mall needs more buses that goes deeper into Nassau, not more routes from Queens.
  5. Why do people want to send the Q7 to Green Acres, and not the Gateway Centre in Brooklyn?
  6. Again, this just proves how ignorant you are. The Q7, Q111, and Q113 were owned by different bus companies before the MTA had them.
  7. The B45 stays on Washington Avenue, sending to Vanderbilt Avenue is a terrible idea. How will Crown Heights Bound B45 go back to St. Johns Place from Vanderbilt?
  8. This pretty much proves how ignorant he is. The Q111 and Q113 use Guy Brewer and 147th Avenue, and the Q85 uses the Conduits From Springfield to 243 and Francis Lewis or Green Acres.
  9. I think he wants the Q7 to run on Conduit Avenue when it goes to and from Green Acres.
  10. 1. The Q113 splits from the Q111 and Brookville Blvd and 147th Avenue when it goes to and from Far Rockaway. After that the Q111 runs along 147th Avenue until it makes a right at Franics Lewis. 2. As I said before, Dollar Vans will have a field day if you replace the Q111 with the Q7. Dollar Vans around Southeastern Queens run on the same street as the Q5, Q111, and Q113 from Jamaica to Rosedale, Far Rockaway, and Green Acres respectively. They know that people want a fast ride to Jamaica and will do anything or pay money for fast service to and from Jamaica. If you replace the Q111 with the Q7, then people will take the dollar van to Jamaica instead of wait for a packed Q113 to go there.
  11. What would happen if the B8 made a right on Rockaway Parkway from Linden Blvd, and a Left on Church Avenue? Would it help people transfer to the B35?
  12. The dollar vans will have a field day if you cut the Q111 and replace it with the Q7. People will take the dollar vans for a fast ride to Jamaica instead of a slow and packed ride on the Q113.
  13. Why combine the Q55 and the B54? I actually thought of doing that, but I feared it may have been a bad idea to combine those routes.
  14. You can't transfer to the Q5 or Q85 to Green Acres from the Q111 or Q113! Q111 and Q113 riders have to get off at Brookville or Francis Lewis and walk from 147th Avenue to South Conduit Avenue because the Q85 uses Sunrise Highway to go to Green Acres. If the MTA extends Q111, then people who take the Q111 and live around 147 will have a route that takes them to Green Acres without the need to walk all the way to South Conduit to take the Q5 or Q85.
  15. Why send the B81 down Linden Blvd between Van Siclen Avenue and Bank Street?
  16. Why do Canal Street and Roosevelt have the same motif? Its basically a blue stripe on a white background with the name of the station covered in a black rectangle. The only difference between the two are the station names, the black rectangle around Roosevelt is bigger than Canal's, and Canal Street's tiles needs some serious repairs.
  17. Where in Jamaica with the 55 terminate? The LIRR station, Parsons-Archer, Parsons-Hillside, the 165th Street Terminal, Merrick Blvd, 170th Street? Furthermore, is there a need for the 55 to go to Jamaica?
  18. Don't forget Middle School and High School students.
  19. I have a couple of ideas: Q3: Limited Stop Service from JFK to 165 Street Terminal. Q111: Trips to Cedarhurst Eliminated, Trips to LIRR Rosedale via Francis Lewis Blvd. Q114: Jamaica LIRR to Far Rockaway Mott Avenue Station via Rockaway Blvd and Sutphin Blvd.
  20. Will it go from Cobble Hill to Lower Manhattan, or Crown Heights to Lower Manhattan
  21. There's no need for the 45 now that the 43 goes to and from Roosevelt Field via Uniondale Avenue. The 43's extension to the Hempstead Terminal and the reduction of the 45's run may have also contributed to lack of riders on that bus.
  22. What program do you use to make those bus maps?
  23. Did the MTA rehabilitate the Rockaway Beach Branch of the A Train? I used the take the shuttle to the Beach 90th Street Station when the Far Rockaway Branch was closed for renovations, and I remember how terrible the station looked. The station was absolutely disgusting and in poor shape.
  24. I have doubts about the sending the B81 and B82 to Gateway Mall. Traffic around the Belt Parkway might cause some delays.
