  1. Truthfully that's not much different than how the current Bronx Manhattan routes are in their current form. Some more details would be nice if you are still backing this proposal.
  2. LOL, you're okay. This will just merged more likely than not. Also if this pisses off a certain someone it was not in vain.
  3. Riverdale Bus Proposals Thread? What the hell are some of you thinking?
  4. LMFAO! Some truly can not tell a joke around here. It's astounding. What, now do I have to type in joke posts that I'm baiting you guys to fall for bullshit? Seriously, like the fifth time this week this has happened. Request to lock.
  5. Most North/South lines in Brooklyn are well used and are candidates for articulated buses.
  6. I'm trying to reply to threads, but I'm literally lost in the sea of stupidity I don't know if it's even worth it.

Friday: Part of the reason outsiders may not feel welcome may also lie in how discussions are carried out online.

If all one views is back and forth redundancy there is not much appeal.

Nevertheless a broadened audience base would do well here.

M2T: Part of it is just flaming and similar in an attempt to purposely derail respective topics..

Other than that I think due to a multitude of factors people can't hold discussion either due to clouded personal views or other factors entirely.

Anyhow thanks for the replies everyone. Really places a perspective on the matter.

  7. The B61 is more direct. Let us not underestimate bus lines now. But the current service is fair for now.
  8. Are my posts seemingly insane as of late, or do your posts lack potency? Think about it people.

Insane? No, they're just too much for some people to handle.

  9. Since you're going by the logic of relevancy I assume either you or someone else (most likely you) will be creating a dedicated "Riverdale Bus Proposals Thread", no?
  10. Keep an upright head and an open mind and you'l do fine.

Well that is to be expected in today's society. You turn on the idiot box and you have these politicians supposedly representing the common people, and alas they can't stand ground. The can't stand their own f**king ground.

Clearly this has somehow passed and influenced the younger generation to at least some extent as I rarely see youth forming their own stance on various issues these days.

Those that do I hold the to the same category as adults.

  11. All f**king hell would break loose and Brooklyn residents would be rioting in the streets. It would be total f**king anarchy.
  12. Free standing. In retrospect it's somewhat justified as there is no direct transit to the immediate area, but Whole Foods would be the only location of interest in the immediate area. The B61 isn't so far down being on 9th, so I think it suffices for now.

  14. Gen X version: I had to ride the with transients trying to sell me coke in tagged up subway cars that smelled like piss, and I couldn't even pull out my walkman without someone trying to pull a fast one. Gen Y version: I had to rely on the and it's ancient subway cars suffering without heat in the damn winter and without air in the summer, all the while people were trying to offload LSD and shrooms.
  15. I suppose in that case it'll be different as earning a wage is somewhat of an incentive, but as in all else in life over time more responsibilities are tacked on, it's less incentive and ultimately the bitching begins again. Now if no one wants to work in less than favorable conditions I'll take my ass down there and outsource them at the first opportunity I get.
  16. Haha, yeah, but as long as he sees it as benefiting others I suppose it's just another harmless proposal. Harmless until the planners start reading here and ignorantly follow some of these word per word. But it'll never happen.
  17. In other words it seems as if half aren't attending class today anyway.
  18. Read below. I really don't want to be an ass, but around 5% of his posts are somehow related to Whole Foods, in the process beating out Via G by a 10:1 ratio. At the very least no one called him out in it here, like they tend to do in the NICE section.
