  1. Why do you guys assume that Orion is leaving for good? They could come back in the future like MTS is.
  2. That's why both depots should have their hybrids taken away from them. Can't maintain new technology buses, don't deserve them.
  3. You mean some pre-9/11 C40LFs from Eastchester was put back into service?
  4. Ok, so you are bascially saying that 1999 New Flyer D60HF #5268 AND 2012 Novabus LFSA #5268 are both in service at the same time?!?!?!
  5. Unless you mean the MTA Long Island Bus Orion V CNGs (aka NICE), I doubt it. At this point, the only thing that would save them is if either the new C40LFs somehow start having problems or if the Orion VII OG CNGs start to be repowered and rehabbed in large numbers.
  6. At last check, the C40LFs were at #599 or #600. Don't know about the LFSAs.
  7. Hold your horses! #3548 and #3741 are NOT scrapped! They are in eastchester still being looked at because of the fires. If they are not that damaged, why the hell would you scrap two brand new buses?
  8. At this time, #3548 and #3741 are both out of service due to fires.
  9. B103 could go to Gleason since it runs nearby. Q8 to Spring Creek, B47 back fulltime to Flatbush, B4 back to Ulmer Park, B65 back to Gleason, B2 to Ulmer Park, B31 to Ulmer Park, B39 (when it returns) go to Grand Ave, B62 to Fresh Pond and BX23 to Casey Stegel.
  10. I know this is going to sound stupid, but why don't they just run leftover IRT Trains on these lines. 11 cars should be enough.
  11. I doubt they will, but if they do, in some ways it would be great because then, we could use the second option order of C40LFs.
  12. Well chances are the technology is failing.
  13. You know, personally, I think they need to retire those last 50 or so R42s. Just have some service cuts car swapping and that will cover it.
  14. You know, for newer buses, those hybrids sure move around alot.
