Not with any SI bus. Possibly some of the BK busses but not sure.

For all SI express busses and some of the x27/28 busses Quill is the only depot.

That's why there is 'work as assigned' busses already from each depot.

Once and awhile on known gridlock days like the UN General Assembly they will offer up to 1hr early pullout paid for deadhead PM rush into the city to try to make a trip home on time. They come up with the early pullout maybe 1x a month or so for various reasons. But it's completely voluntary if you want to do it.

Not just me , trust me that's how it is across the board. They will never be a announcement or anything at the depot or radio informing us of missing trips or anything to expect heavy ridership or delays.

It's a tough one. I don't do express much but even on local if someone asked me about the bus ahead that never showed up, 95% of the time I have no idea about it. We are never informed of missing trips on the route. Unless we actually pass a bus broken down or accident. We stay in the dark just like the passengers.

I told you before lots of time points and stuff are the same for years. Never adjusted for anything. But on another note I don't think a dispatcher will tell the 7pm trip to just return to depot if that's the last trip for that driver and only 7 trips on that route in total.

Lol It's not that cold today btw. Anyway they just call it a modified schedule and they do play announcement on it over the bus radios saying there will be longer wait times due to lower frequencies.

If there are busses going there , than better beleive they got room for it. They wouldn't send busses if they can't fit.

On another note not sure why on express it's more of a issue ( most straight express runs pay more) while on local side there is quite a bit more teamwork and helping each other out. I can't comment about everyone but it's all broken all around lol

Yea but it's for no reason at all, they like to play games on the road and in turn it doesn't really hurt the other driver being we are paid till we get back to depot. It hurts everyone. If someone just hangs back let's another bus pick up the work, doesn't just effect the driver it has a big chain reaction, standing room busses followed by empty bypassing busses being other busses in the stand.

Hah yeah. I don't really understand it on express bus but I had people get on local bus like 2 stops before the end of the line and inform them I only got 2 stops left. But to say I'm not going to the end of the line better have a valid reason. It's tough I know some customers are hard to work with, and I see how some drivers are hard to work with as well ( even as a driver I see co-workers being difficult even to each other let alone the public)

Hah. That is a funny thought but no I try to stay far far away from express bus. Although one sign I did like that i Think the NGs still have (code 9200 I think) just said " EARTH DAY 2013 MTA YOUR DAILY POLLUTION SUBSTITUTION" it was ridiculous lol I am not fast at all and probably one you would say is a filler and constantly late. But definitely not rude or one that Huff's and puffs going to the end of the line. Some stuff is kinda hard to believe lol.

Yea that's pretty ridiculous WFC was always pretty heavy when we had the X routes but I never seen it like that. I've seen 20 30people there but that's crazy.
