Those above door scanners are very new they were installed a month or two before the SIM rollout. Not sure if it's going to be citywide.
I believe it supposed to help with real-time info as in the future you should be able to see how many seats occupied on bustime or whatever the new app or website will provide.
Yes indeed.
It's a tough one though, I don't think the tour busses are a bad thing as it is a popular thing to see a new city.
They are slow as molasses though, but semi-predictable in their movement at least.
Yellow cabs are worse IMO lol
Those are all automatically done, not sure if it's a timer or what but they just randomly play all day. Even if I wanted to stop those I don't think I could lol.
Yes I know any bus can be loaned out or used anywhere. This particular RTS was at Castleton for maybe 2 days but wasn't there for service. I was wondering if maintenance needs a refresher every x amount to stay qualifed? So they just sent one over for them to play with?
While I'm not sure of this particular situation any depot can work on any bus as long as they are qualified. There was a RTS at Castleton a few months back in the shop... Why or how it got there was beyond me but no less it can be done....
Lol not saying I want to drive them but cruising on highway and highway only there ok.
But on another note I don't know what year they are (2007?) The #2200s are suprisingly nice.
Honestly on the highway they are better than prevost I'd say. Seats have more cushion and suspension isn't as firm, on the streets is another matter lol
Yessir there were times I did the s40/46/48/53 where half the people didn't pay but for the most part the s53 isnt usually too bad... But the 40/46/48 I could honestly say about 20% of the people do not pay (if you exclude loading at the ferry)
No such thing as XL only runs, anyone can pick any run including boost runs makes no difference.
Link doesn't work so I can't see what the reference is to but it could of been showing the regular run and than shows curtailment which would push that operator onto XL that day....
