My main regret is that the people at Corona Yard have to fix up all of the damages done to the R142s, from the leaking roll signs to the dirt and rust, to the browning yellow lights. Still, at the very least, CBTC *should* lower the crummy skip-stop patterns at 7 local stations and the numerous delays that have been plaguing the 7 for years.

Doesn't change the fact that when a R142A from Westchester Yard pulls into the station, its rusted, the rollsigns are damaged, and it looks way older than it actually is...

When they took the 10 car R142As from the 6 train, didn't they add in a brand new 11th car for each train? Also, when I refer to R188s I'm referring to the brand new R188s, not the converted R142As (which are technically R188s as well). Sorry for the confusion and for going off topic.

...Since when were they doing this? They always mix Convert R142s with single R188 cars, but... I've never seen half the train converted R142s and half R188s.
