  1. First things first, I do help out the MTA by giving them my money fare almost everyday not knowing were that money goes too. Second, it's nice that someone helped clean a subway car as far as a good samaritan goes but like I stated before this is New York and most things don't stay nice & clean after a few days especially in a 24/7 subway system.
  2. I knew it. Is the back color white or black when you saw it?
  3. R62a 1791/95 really needs to have its trucks or wheels checked out. I feel like its going to derail or something.
  4. According to NY1, the new 34th Street-Hudson Yards station will open to the public on Sunday, September 13 at 1 p.m. Can't wait to check it out.
  5. The whole point in building a new terminal at 34th St is so the service can be extended. Makes no sence in terminating them at 42nd Street especially at rush hours. Like stated above possibly during G.Os or an incident.
  6. Theres two R62A 18xx sets coupled together on the . If they were smart enough those sets would be traded over to the with the 23xx 22xx & 21xx sets back over to the .
  7. I think it looks great as well. Its simple and it doesn't have to be something thats to over the top. Still think the 41st street 10th avenue station is a miss on this project.
  8. There's still a little over a dozen R62As left on the so theirs no point in not using them for service and I'm willing to see how thier gonna update the stripmaps on the remaining R62A for the opening of 34th St-Hudson Yards.
  9. Their starting to take of the patch on the R188 stripmaps that covers the 34th st-Hudson yards sign.
  10. Just seen R142a 7481-7485 heading southbound on the pelham line. Im assuming its on its way to 239 st yard. We're down to the last few 74xx units and about nine more 75xx for conversion work.
  11. It's somewhat hard to believe that politics is the reason why the R142/R142A went to the & lines but who knows it could be true.
  12. The NTT's have never done interior ad wrapping yet An R142 train had a NBA All-Star Ad-wrap outside & inside back in Febraury.
  13. Talking about trains that haven't been in service for a while, I haven't seen R142As 7491/95 & 7531/35 in service on the 6 for while. I remember seeing 7531/35 at the 207 yard this past winter.
  14. Is corona yard not comfortable putting ad wraps on the R188s?
  15. Yeah they've been fixing up the station with new screens, stairs and putting up new signages.
  16. I saw the same train as well earlier in the afternoon.
  17. No there not for the time being. Anything under R142A 7591 has been or is to be converted to an R188. Jeromes sets start with 7656/7660 I believe.
  18. I've lived in Florida for several years and if you don't have a drivers licensce let alone a car to get around it can truly be a real pain in the ass. If people in this city like you said can stop whining and appreciate the convenience of mass transit in the city new bus or old bus, new trains or old trains, atleast you get from point A to point B in a matter of minutes or so.
  19. Same with some of the broadway R62A sets being on the for over a year.
  20. That's why New York can't have nice things.
  21. With all the commotion happening on the eastern B division about the R143 J train, I would say never say never for an R62A showing up on the .
  22. Mainly some of the 74xx units are there.
  23. I agree with this 100% but you can't disclude the 42nd Street Shuttle as well.
