6365 also 6371 have been like that since it was based out of Mother Clara Hale Depot I remember riding them on the bx33 and was amazed when I noticed how different it looks from the other 6300s and 6400s
West Farms is always short they lost a lot of articulated buses in the past few weeks
5327, 5880, 5257, 5259, 5267, 5930, 5943, 5947, 5950, 5952, 5953, 5959 and to say the bx36 is supposed to become articulated
This bx55 conversation brings back so many memories I remember when the bx55 ended at 1am and operated on weekends they need to extend the bx15 Limited service cause ending it at 7pm does not work and also adding weekends I can’t wait for it to be converted to a select bus route
Ferry point park is in Throgs Neck. The bx42 goes there so if the MTA wants to extend or create a bus route to the new ferry they should reroute or extend the bx42
Coming from a “ratchet” community Lmaoo I see this every single day and as a person who is living pay check to pay check and having to buy weekly/monthly metro cards and see people just hop the bus or train like it’s a game lowkey pisses me off
I’ve always wondered this but why do people in places like queens (flushing and Jamaica) wait on lines to board the bus I’ve never seen this in any other borough in the city. Farebeating is probably low in those areas
I agree this route is pretty long , it also has a lot of turns which can make it even longer, some buses due short turn on linden boulevard. They should make a limited or SBS route to supplement the B15
The M100, In September 2013 was extended to First Avenue and 125th Street to provide additional service on 125th Street. but in 2016, when construction started to replace the ramps of the RFK bridge the M100 was scaled back to 127st & 2nd ave. Construction ended on the ramps a little over a year now and the M100 never went back to its new terminal on 1st ave & 125st. Did the MTA forget they extended the service ?
I think we going to have a wait and see but i think is true that the LFSA (5567-5602) if not needed for the L shuttle are supposed to push out the XD60s to Tuskegee but wait when the 2019 xd60s (6126-6286) come they will push out the older xd60s back to local service as well (6030-6125) 95 buses and not all of them are for Tuskegee so there maybe other Depots getting xd60s
If you talking about SBS they have M23, M34/A, M60, M79 & M86 and if the M14sbs will be starting then add that to the list so Quill would need about 100 or so buses to make service/Spears
local service M14A/D & split route M35 about 46 buses
Can someone fill me in on which routes got new homes ?
1. I know the Q38 & Q58 went to grand ave Depot
2 . The B60 went to fresh pond
3. The M35 is being split with quill
are there any others ?
