  6. So then the just would turn at Bway/155. 61st is not a dead end, and you said that the closures stopped at 66t, so running the 72 to 66th is ok!
  7. next: - flushing-bound runs past a mis-set switch at queensboro plaza, closing the queens-bound tracks of the . manhattan-bound NOT affected - the 53 st/6 av junction is crippled by hackers, causing major service disruptions on the ( not affected) - a work train stalls on the Williamsburg Bridge manhattan-bound, causing the complete closure of service manhattan-bound. brooklyn-bound not affected. - freak derailment south of jay st, knocking out the whole junction. reroute reroute: NB/EB

  9. What’s faster from Jamaica to Far Rockaway? Q113/114 or to ?
  10. Pretty sure that you can’t run R188s on non-CBTC lines. The Rockaway shares cars with the - if it ran R32s, then the would have to also.
  11. Would it be feasible to make a Roosevelt Island to Manhattan BRT (via RFK Bridge), making no stops? Or is that just another one of my pie-in-the-sky ideas (there are many!)?
  12. You mean they are at the equator? I doubt that NJT buses would be there...
  13. It would be on the service road. So then run it on an alternative route? Doesn't the Hudson Rail Link run there? This, as discussed earlier, could be BRT. The Hudson Rail Link runs there - It could be BRT.
  14. For - 63 Cannot handle 4 trains. It can handle 2 on each track. so you either have to cut the or For - you can't turn at Wall. Do you mean Clark? For - Why not Boro Hall? Also, why no IRT in Brooklyn?
  15. see below the manhattan-bound tube is closed. you'd have to.
  16. I, personally, think it is the best way - if you ran s single-tracked in the 60 St Tubes, then you would have to send all s and s via 63rd, and 63rd can't handle three lines.
  17. : Clark to 241 : New Lots to Nevins : Boro Hall to Woodlawn : Nevins to Flatbush : Jay to 205, fulltime : via to 57-7 : terminates at Lex-59 : via 63rd SB : R62As run from Hudson Yards to Astoria - bridgeplates in use at all Astoria line stations. : suspended : Via 63rd NB

  19. This won't work. In my scenario, the collapse means that the Trans-Manhattan Expressway is destroyed, so HRD WILL NOT WORK. Why can't you take a right on Overlook, then right on Bway, right on 179, enter GWB there? True -- I thought buses could run on the HH Bridge though. Anybody know for sure?
  20. Next: A MNR train hits the supports of the Broadway Bridge, and the bridge is closed for inspection. THIS MEANS THAT THERE ALSO MUST BE A SHUTTLE FROM MANHATTAN TO THE BRONX! The Washington Bridge is closed Bronx-bound for repainting - buses can still cross TO Manhattan. Reroute ,,,,, The Queensboro Bridge has to undergo structural maintenance, closing it Queens-bound - buses can still cross TO Manhattan Reroute: ,,,,,,,,,Q32, Q60, Q101, all QM buses
  21. Next: A train derails south of Boro Hall, causing major damage to every track. There is a broken rail in the Queens-bound 53 St Tubes, causing the closure of the Queens-bound tubes (MANHATTAN-BOUND NOT AFFECTED!). A work train stalls in the 60 St Tubes Manhattan-bound, causing the closure of the Manhattan-bound tubes (QUEENS-BOUND NOT AFFECTED!) The north side of the Manhattan Bridge is closed, so no trains can run through Reroute: , SB , NB
