Where are the breakers on NTT cars? Like for lights, doors, dynamic brake, hvac, air compressors etc.? I think they are all on the back wall of the cab on SMEEs, but NTTs appear to have nothing there.
I saw the strangest thing on a video a few weeks ago: Arcs not between the shoe an the third rail, but between the wheel and the rail. Of course I can not find the video now though.
Why do they need 2 locomotives to move the set, how do the brakes work, and why is there a decommissioned redbird between the first 2 locomotives? (with lights on somehow)
I cant imagine what will happen when the R211 begins its 30 day service testing. A bunch of screaming foamers with their phones out filming and running up and down the train.
On another topic, people are still getting pushed on the the tracks and/or hit by subway trains more than once a week! When will this stop?
Yes, I think considering how long the R179 and R211 took, the should be ordering the R262 (and probably the R68/A replacement) right now before the older cars are falling apart.
Also just how much testing do new subway cars do? The R211 has been testing for over 1 year now!
