  1. How tf does something like that happen edit: and why doesn’t the MTA build NTTs to be interoperable like the early SMEEs
  2. Doesn’t “vice-versa” mean the other way around or something? also wtf is up with A frequencies? It only interlines with the D?
  3. For the Rockaway Park shuttle why don’t they make it a triangle, Broad Channel to Rockaway Park, Rockaway Park to Far Rockaway, Far Rockaway to Broad Channel, and vice versa, while cutting the Rockaway A trains to Broad Channel
  4. *has whole list* “What’s happening? track maintenance.” A bit funny how those 2 words can knock out a whole line
  5. Not necessarily. Uptown it could use the local platform and to go downtown it could use the express. However like the B it’s not going to the end of the line. It’s still terminating at Forest Hills. The E is full local until Briarwood, F is express along that section
  6. Why doesn’t anyone talk about making the R express on QBL and the E local or making more services fully local/express like sending the F full express, and B full local except Brighton
  7. Can I have 2 R68 signs with dirt "B - Brighton Beach (South) - Rockaway Park (North)" "M - Myrtle/Metropolitan Ave (South) - 168 St/Washington Heights (North)"
  8. Why is it so difficult for CBTC to be installed? can’t they just slap a sensor at each end of a consist (including conductor ends) that details their speed and braking distance that informs the operator when it’s too close to another train?
  9. Opinions on my upgrades from last time The brown that runs through Central Park East are the Z and X trains, that go into the Bronx, and runs along Ralph Avenue in Brooklyn posted on Wattpad so you don’t have to scroll past the images on here https://www.wattpad.com/1296311910-lololol-choo-choo-again
  10. Well you have to remember that farebeaters exist…
  11. I’ve heard in operations of things like “Full lineup to Forest Hills” referencing having trains enter one after another
  12. I have a question I’ve been making my Elevated lines on Brand New Subway I realized that there were 2 types of express services, “Thru-Express” and “express” and they seem to differ given that they have different signage, I believe shown here However I couldn’t find anything about “Thru-Express” trains, anywhere
  13. Hey I'm back I wanted to know what you thought about this Was gonna make a transfer screen but 1, 2, 3, B, and C were all too big to fit into the box, and I also cropped it because it seemed a bit big and out of proportion
  14. Can’t wait for an R211S to suck me into the tracks at the southern end of the Tompkinsville platform 👍
  15. Probably the following: "If you're not gonna use it then why install it! Headways need to be improved now!" And "That's gonna increase maintenance costs without it doing anything" Edit: also, I just saw a post from last night about a "signal problem" at 42-Bryant Park where the intercom was blasting "Police requested on the downtown express track!" Apparently at about 8 pm Anyone got info on this? MTA Twitter says signal problems
  16. Ignorance forgiven and, good point. The most crowded the SIR gets is probably evening rush hour departing from St George, which is about half as crowded as your average A
  17. Speaking of, could modified R211T B cars be set with R211S cabs?
  18. As long as they aren’t too close to the tracks and trains they should be fine
  19. Like the G was extended to Coney Island and as an express through the QBL
