  1. The LI M3s are fine. They haven't been breaking down much recently.
  2. Jamaica does not have a high spare factor. They have one of the lowest if not the lowest out of all the depots. They have a 1.5% spare factor. Jamaica has 196 scheduled buses and is normally assigned 199. That is 3 spares which equates to 1.5%. All of this information can be found in their electrification plan.
  3. From looking at the electrification chart. It looks like Jamaica and Queens Village's 2011s will be directly retired by electric buses but nothing is set in stone yet.
  4. The problem is that Jamaica is always getting its buses jacked. It is true that Jamaica has been treated much better compared to previously. However, with recent events such as the fleet swap and the taking of XD40s, Jamaica is once again started to be mistreated. The new diesels were not an improvement over the XD40s and from what I heard, many drivers don't like them due to the slow acceleration.
  5. Jamaica was the stepchild of the DOB previously. At one point Jamaica always got the old buses and did not receive any new buses for more than a decade. You can still argue that Jamaica is still being treated unfairly as Manhattan, Bronx, and Brooklyn have been grabbing JA's buses.
  6. Well, it is odd that Jamaica slapped on decals after 2 weeks and only on the 2015s.
  7. Manhattanville likes to put decals on their stuff like the NG loans a few years back and Jamaica would be short when the loans go back. Adding on, it looks like Jamaica took the stickers and placed it on the 2015 XD40s so I'm not really sure what is going on right now.
  8. Can anyone confirm if the recent transfers from Jamaica to Manhattanville are loans or official transfers?
  9. Adding on to this, it looks like Jamaica took off the stickers from 7550, 7551, and 7568 and put them on the 2015 XD40 loans.
  10. 7550, 7551, 7568 Jamaica to Manhattanville 8830 West Farms to Jamaica
  11. Jamaica is starting to put Jamaica decals on their loans. Currently, 7096 and 7329 has Jamaica decals.
  12. Some drivers are like that. Some Q36 ones are especially bad. A lot of drivers layover at this park even though it's not the end of the route and purposely make themselves late. I've missed many connections because of this. In addition, once I was waiting at the first stop and the driver signed up as NIS, dropped everyone off, and left without picking anyone else up. His run didn't end there and I had to wait 30 minutes for the next Q36. Some of these ops just think they can do whatever they want.
  13. Considering the fact that it tracked at Stengel 49 minutes ago it’s not at Eastchester.
  14. It was sitting in Stengel an hour ago though.
  15. 7096 has Jamaica depot stickers and has its Brooklyn Bus Map removed.
  16. 8905 delivered to Stengel and is currently on the Q32
