  1. Was Downtown Bklyn today and spotted the unimaginable, 4596 on the B25, complete with decals and everything. I'll try to post them tomorrow night when I have more time.
  2. I hope the current swap of NGs at ENY are not loans.... Same goes for the 49xxs and 50xxs that are coming in at Grand Avenue. Also, what is the deal with the recall of the ngs? If they are shipped out, what'll replace them on a long term scale?
  3. I don't think these are loaners. ENY is getting 9414 and 9203, just to name afew. What sense would it make to loan buses to GA and then have to take some buses away from another depot in another division (from FB to UP, from ENY to GA, then from Jamaica to East New York)? But I will remain hopeful that this is not just a tweek, but a real move in the right direction.
  4. i SINCERELY HOPE THAT THE NEW ADDITIONS ARE NOT LOANERS!!!!! BUT IF THEY ARE, I HOPE TO CONTINUE SEEING THEM. ALSO, IF THEY ARE LOANERS, WHY CHANGE THEIR DECALS? JAM'S LOANS TO QV DOES NOT HAVE CHANGED DECALS.
  5. Things are getting interesting at GA. 8947 was spotted, with decals, on the Metropolitan Avenue vound B38, the Grand Avenue Branch. Also spotted 9597 on the B62 twice tonight!!! It was a great night for me!!! Also like the idea of GA getting some 1998-1999 RTS'. Love the 95xxs but the 94xx influx needs to be adjusted.
  6. Sorry. The Q24 is with East New York Depot. My mistake.

  7. If they do hit the streets of Staten Island and the Bronx first, will they ever see service in other boroughs? If not, thats cool because I know what they will be replacing and I like those buses. Too bad the TMCs can't stick around for another five or six years as they are nice buses to ride around in. LONG LIVE THE 1990/1 AND 1993/4 RTS EDITIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But as for the new hybrids coming to the outer shells of New York, then that is just fine by me as long as someone posts some photos up so that the rest of us out there can be so lucky...... Also, are these buses low floor hybrids or just regular low floor cngs like that of both Brooklyn and the Bronx? Sorry I don't know for certain, but I don't know the terminology for ng or anything else.
  8. Welcome Along and thank you for coming on board.

Thank you for riding with MTA New York City Transit.
