  1. 4132 was on the Q88 last week with corresponding decals, so its actually at QV.
  2. Orion VII bus 4116 was running down Jamaica Avenue for the afternoon service, AND IT HAS QUEENS VILLAGE DEPOT STICKERS TO CORRESPOND!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, but I"m just soooooo happy that QV is receiving more of these great buses. QV should have received the 45/46xxs that are in Bklyn's Flatbush Depot.
  3. This surprised me today, but what the hell. I'll report it anyways. 3992 was on the Q43 with the QV decals on the bus and 4132 was on the Q88 with corresponding QV decals. I'm sooooooo psyched that the Queens Village Depot is getting more Ngs Finally, even if they are out of turn and fom the year 2008, lol.
  4. Weird, I saw 6875 on the Q43 Limited this afternoon. Does anyone knoe if CS is losing any of their Hybrids to QV or what because 6884-6885 is still at QV along with 6875 now.
  5. This is not a move, but I was just so psyched to catch 3949 on the M14A to Abingdon Square Monday. Man, did that take me back to my childhood, prior to the arrival of the artics along 14th Street.
  6. I always enjoy the R32s on the Jamaica Line better than when they are on the 8th Avenue Line. Alas, the R32s will go back to the J, just as the R46s will leave the Queens Blvd Express. Sad times in bus-fanning heaven.
  7. With the loans gone from Grand Avenue and the Orion Vs gone, is that depot still short?
  8. Just great. More low floor, frontal overcrowding in the not-so-immediate future. (sarcasm)
  9. I'm just curious as to how many Orion Vs are around the city at the moment? Surely the amount, 'x', is something like 100<x>250, right?
  10. I highly doubt that that second option is going to happen. Nothing against you or anything like that, but I don't see the MTA wasting the last of the HF buses by retiring them early. If anything, they will go the way of its predecessors and stick it out until the bitter end, although I don't see any of that happening anytime soon.
  11. Say it ain't so that the bees are not set for retirement. Those buses, along with the other Orion Vs that are still making their rounds on the streets of New York City, are the best aged buses in the fleet, right next to the stockpiles that are at GA/FP/QV. The Orion Vs have a few more years left in them, all of them.
  12. Mark my words, when all is said and done, I'll bet that the new buses will make their debuts everywhere else, except FP and GRand. By the end of next year, those two depots will round out the depots with the aging/retiring fleet.
  13. The B60 had 9507 tonight with GA Decals. I thought that one was still out here in Queens.
  14. What I would like to know is why is GA getting a bunch of old rejects for revenue service? First it was the 1998 Orion V, next the 1999 Novas, now its the 1996 Novas again. What is going on over in Maspeth?
  15. 9464 was scrapped six years ago after a Bed-Stuy bound B15 bus collided with a Fire Truck right outside where I used to live. The B15 was still at GA at that time.
  16. I actually rode 4968 on the B62 tonight. It felt weird having that bus on a GA route, given the fact that I'm pretty sure I caught this bus on an ENY Route years prior.
  17. You must forgive me. I know that 4534-4570 and 4701-4702 are at GA. I meant are the buses 4534-4543 are going over to FP as well. I must say that I certainly hope so. Let Grand avenue have the 1997s and the two 1998 series. As long as 4701 and 4702 stay right where they are.
  18. Does anyone know if 4534-4544 is going over to GA or is 4544 the only defected bus over to GA this time?
  19. Does anyone know if 4544 is still at Fresh Pond or what?
  20. Gosh, I sure hope that the GA moves are not loaners!!!!!! I've always hoped that the 1998 Novas and the 1998 Orion Vs would appear at the same place at the same time. Besides, those decals were sure moved at a fast speed (not that that singular fact means anything). But why are FP takng more of GA's NGs? Are the miles really that bad in Bklyn North?
  21. At ths rate all GA needs is 9584 and it will be something of a quad wth those buses. 93/94/95/9684 among a few others. I'm just sooooo glad that this depot is getting some 96xxs. I do think that 9683 may be back in GA as well, but cannot confirm right now. I'll have to keep my eyes out for that one.
