    Not for nothing, but i take the most nights this season. I always catch a specific train set on the J line (the one with car #4788). All I know is that specific car (and hopefully the other retained cars in that given set) is much shinier these days than it was before. Also, the windows are not as shitty a they were before. So, I do hope that these current overhauls of these cars are responsible for the rejuvenation of this R42.

    ^^To be honest, the riders in that section love those old cars. We all feel a bit nostalgic. All I ever heard on the Eighth Avenue Line was passengers bitching about the all of the old cars and the like. We on the are damned happy to have the ancient cars. Those and the R42s, which also run all night now..

    Back on to the tpic on hand, I wish that the MTA would trade out all of the R32s that are on the and bring them onboard to the . The idea, as it would be, would be to keep those R32s/R42s safe and secure on the elevated portions. Can't fathom why they didn't decide to let the R32s leave the line altogether. The R32s/R42s are doing great work on the ENY Lines.

    The R32s need to stay on the . The only way they will make it to 60 years old is to keep them on the elevated portions.

    ^^Yea.. Imma miss that bus for sure. Also glad that GA will be getting their hybrids back. Never sat well with me that they lost those buses to begin with. I only hope they get 4514-4533 back as well when all is said and done.

    Sorry to hear about your cousin. May he rest in peace. As for 9572, That bus is still around. It is running at Maspeth (GA) now. I catch it all the time on the B57/B62. I was always hoping that the 95/96xxs would come to GA and displace the many 94xxs that they have. Nice to know that has finally become a reality. Also, I do believe that I saw the 8483 on the Q36 last night. I could be off, though.

    Was he referring to the Vs or the VIIs? The Orion VIIs need to return to Brooklyn, that's for sure. Also, spotted 4183 on a QV route.

    Please correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the Queens Village Depot house trips for the Q76 during the afternoon commutes? I ask because the other CS routes are listed , but not that one. Also saw 8899 on the Q43 Friday afternoon, heading towards Jamaica. Wonder what that was about.

    4186 CS to QV. Spotted on the Q36 tonight.

    4184-4185 both on the Q43 this evening. I'm so glad that the NGs are arriving at QV. I'm not mad at all that they were suckered out of the new LFS' this go around. I only hope that the 4600s arrive shortly thereafter at Queens Village.

    9569 was on the B24 this afternoon. Also, I'm not sure, but I think i saw 9580 on the B62 around midnight. Seems as if GRand Avenue, along with QV, is going to be the final stomping ground for the greatest fleet of RTS', the 9350-9699 series.

    9397, 9587 are in service at Grand Avenue. 7626-30 are in service at Jackie Gleason. 9446 at QV. Also spotted 7379 last night on the Q20A.

    All I have to say is that I hope that the still have their R32s and R42s make appearances. Why should the 6 Av/53 St and Queens Blvd Lcl have all the fun, huh. I will say that it would only be fair to have the R143 return to the line as well, but all of this may just be wishful thing thinking on my part.

    I caught 7628 on the B68 last night. I didn't know that Gleason were getting these buses back.

    Idk if this was supported, but 4680 has Casey Stengal decals. I spotted it around 12:30 a.m. on the Q44 Local. Nice to see so many standards on the Q this summer. Also, 7373 was on the Q76 this afternoon around College Point.
